Stogies & Strings

STOGIES BLUEGRASS

Join us for a great night of Stogies & Strings!  This program was specially designed by Scott Goodlett so corporate clients could relax, enjoy themselves and take it all in after a long day of travel or meetings.

First off, we have a dynamic Bluegrass Band that is truly outstanding!  They are excellent musicians with personalities to match. They set the tempo for the event from the beginning and keep it consistent the entire evening.  Clients love this, not only because it is so representative of Kentucky tradition, but because they are just that good.

Next we have the Stogies. These hand-rolled, imported beauties are brought in from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. They are preserved in a cherry & glass humidor and ready for the evening. You can just sit back, listen to music and enjoy classic cigars from around the world.

This is the perfect way to end the busy day!

Spirits & Stogies

Enjoy an after dinner presentation by Master Distiller, former Woodford Reserve GM and Whiskey Advocate Magazine Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Dave Scheurich, as he discusses the many nuances of Kentucky’s famous magical elixir, Bourbon. Dave will explain and show (through taste evaluation, alcohol provided by client) how bourbon came to be and how to evaluate a good whiskey like a true aficionado.

Listening to Dave is an outstanding experience because he combines education and entertainment into the program. Following the presentation he will have a Q & A for the guests and then will direct them to the cigar humidor where he will stay with the group to answer any additional questions they may have.

At the cigar table, Scott Goodlett will help the guests personally select and cut an imported, hand-made cigar from the private humidor. These imported beauties are from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras. He will also answer questions about the cigars from the provided selection to enhance the cigar education and smoking experience for the guests.

To bring the entire event together everyone will thoroughly enjoy listening to our talented and dynamic four piece Bluegrass band while they converse with Dave and have an imported cigar!  The perfect combination of Kentucky traditions to make the perfect event!
